Foundation is the first application step in the Gelish soak off gel nail polish application.
It is clear and remains clear after curing treatment under UV lamp. It is applied to cleansed
and prepped nails and the bottle comes with a short kinda stubby brush. I have read it is
meant to be enough to do 1,000 nails.

It should be applied THIN (super super thin) and cured for 1 minute before applying Gelish color.

I have read recommendations that you wipe off most of product off brush in bottle neck and then
apply a dot to each of your fingers with what remains on the brush. Then use a scrubbing motion
to spread up to just short of the cuticle line (never touching the cuticle to avoid lifting) and
cap the free edge (end) of the finger nail.

Cure for 1 minute under a UV lamp (36 watt or better).

This foundation base gel for gelish soak of gel polish is great. The smaller brush ensures the right amount of product is applied to the nail. Cures in 1 minute with my UV light. If you are a nail tech like myself who was (or is) using CND Shellac, try this system, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Amazing product! Lasts for a ridiculously long time and stays shiny and chip free. The only downside is that you have to soak it off with acetone and cure it with uv light, neither of which are healthy practices!
